Part one
What you can do as a first responder when a baby or child
is injured. It covers the most common accidents or injuries:
• Electric shock
• Major trauma
• Drowning
• Head Injury
• Limb Injury
• Wounds/Cuts
• Eye Injury
• Lost parts
• Nose bleeds
• Overdose/Poisoning
• Burns/scalds
• Allergic reaction
We teach you what your objective should be as the first responder in
each of these scenarios, how to assess the severity and how to respond.
Part two
Fever management and medical emergencies, including convulsions,
meningitis and abdominal pain.

Weekend and evening rates are at no extra charge (Prices
include VAT at 17.5% and are subject to change).
NOTE: Our prices have remained the same since 2004 but unfortunately our costs have increased substantially. We have held off as long as possible but will need to increase our prices from the beginning of 2009. For classes booked from 01 January 2009, the price for a two-hour class will be £300 which works out at £50 per person if 6 people attend.
